You never know where you'll end up in life, who you'll meet, or what will inspire you. G.A.B.E. Apparel is the culmination of one person's experiences from childhood to adulthood. As a child, Gabriel "Gabe" Adibe used to draw clothes and fantasize about becoming a fashion designer. He only had two lofty goals: to become a fashion designer or a G.I. Joe. It's funny how life turns out. Gabe became a real-life G.I. Joe, so to speak, when he earned the title of U.S. Marine amidst the heartbreaking events of September 11, 2001. Having served for more than 20 years on active duty as a Marine, and after obtaining a Bachelor of Sociology and a Master of Communication, Gabe decided it was time to pursue one of his earliest dreams: design clothes. 

 

So what sets G.A.B.E. Apparel apart from the thousands of brands out there? Think of it this way: we all have fingerprints. G.A.B.E. Apparel's fingerprint consists of purpose-driven designs that combine thought-provoking messages, stunning graphics, a sense of purpose and belonging, and clothing lines with their own identities yet common ground that binds them together into a unified family.

Every one of us has something to offer. We each see the world through similar yet different lenses. Sometimes, we don't have the words to express how or what we are feeling. Sometimes, someone else says it better or in a way that truly resonates with us. Gabe intends for every item to add more meaning to the wearer's life. If an item makes you smile, think a little harder about a topic, helps get your point across, or starts a conversation, his design work has been successful.
